2022: picked up her 3rd leg for her championship
2022 National Show; 3rd place 4 year old
We first saw Ladybird in her pen at the 2021 ADGA National Show in Louisville and loved her topline and her udder structure, especially from the rear view. We liked her so much that we made a 700 mile round trip later that fall to breed a few does to her sire, Thunderbird. Fortunately, we got a doe and 2 buck kids from her sire, so it made the cost and time of the trip worthwhile.
We didn't see Ladybird again until the 2022 National Show. Over the year her body had matured and her udder was more capacious. We still loved her and was so excited for Frog Flat Farm when she placed 3rd in a very strong 4 year old class. We feel so blessed we were able to add her, as well as a daughter and two paternal sisters, to our herd in August 2022.
